Read John 19:14–30 online
We read Matthew 21:1-11. Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, and everyone realised that he was the King promised in the Old Testament, and they greeted him the way you greet a King. We know that Jesus is our King, and because He has risen from the dead He is our King forever! We should celebrate too, and worship our King Jesus!
Here are some activities based on this Bible passage that you can do with your family.
And here are some of the great activities that you did - donkeys, palm leaves and retelling the story:
One day Jesus was in a boat with his friends when there was a huge storm! Jesus’ friends woke him up and said “don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” But Jesus stood up and he told the wind and the waves to be still. All at once the storm stopped and there was a big calm. Jesus’ friends were even more terrified: The wind and the waves obey Jesus. Who is this man?
You can do some activities with your family based on this story.
Here are some of the wonderful things you have been making.
